no-one can be an Island [a good friend told me, and its true in every way]you dont have to accept everything or go along with everyone, i mean just have some one next to you that can get your back and fight by your side. its hard to share dreams with people. but if you let it ... it can become more than just dreams. sometimes letting go is another way of receiving.
Who we pick to share with might be one of the most important decisions we ever make...

Expectations Feb 14, 2008

have you ever wondered about expectations and how they change a person. as an artist i love to work in almost any medium, but the thing is that when you have close friends that know you, they expect you to either blow them away or to fail and not even bother with it anymore. you see people know talent when they they see it, but when you no longer pump them out 4 5 6 at a time every week, all of a sudden no-one cares, and your amazing work that was marveled over before, now collects dust or sits in a gallery , easily glanced over, "yeah its good , i've seen it already" amazing heh. our ability to appreciate seems to have degraded because its not about the creations anymore, its about page views and comments no matter what kind of shit people post as art. as long as they are liked and can brag about how many million people a day visit they page. but then again i might be a single cry in the fading sun, maybe i will never be as famous or as popular but i know what i have, and its worth more to me than page views

What is Art? Nov 29, 2007

lets break it down and look at Art as a word. my description of It is not in reference to a dictionary or Encyclopedia but my mere opinion on it.

A~ i guess to be fair i have to say "All", because art can be anything. as a very opinionated artist i tend to be very critical and want to see people put effort and passion into their work, not that i 'm against accidental art, but i think too many people post things as art ans i look at it and think to myself .."where?".. the truth is that art is in the eyes of the beholder, especially the creator's eyes. thus i concede my opinion to at leat keep my opinion to myself.

R~ definitely "Remembers", and i mean this in the way it interacts with people. if it makes you think of or feel something, then the artist has succeeded in either retrieving an old memory of the beholder or is making them experience new ones.

T~ lol, yeah its got be "Trivia". ok ...so what is that all about.. trivial things are matters or things that are very unimportant, and are things we normally would not pay any special attention to. that is exactly why practical people have less appreciation for art because its almost never useful. well... i don't believe that some needs to be useful to become important. three are so much to see and beauty to be discovered, in all areas of art, visual, literature, sound, performance. without it i don't believe we can experience things like love or peace.
